For this project, I was tasked with turning an old Italian Palazzo into a museum with my choice of curated items.
Design by Observation
In my furniture class, we conducted a project that required us to design a nightstand by trial & error, and by actually using, in context, the pieces we were designing.
Hotel Room Materials
This project was to make a hotel room ADA compliant and universally designed for all users. I selected and specified the materials and selected interior fixtures.
This was a quick redesign for a personal clients basement. New furniture and accessories made this light filled basement a little bit brighter!
The image is a feature of the zine I created about trinkets and knick-knacks. The zine features hand traced patterns, photos of my trinkets, and a D.I.Y. section.
This project was a study of collective memory and the transformation of a small restaurant into a market, cafe, and demonstration kitchen.
A senior studio healthcare project that entailed renovating an existing "big box" store into a 26,000 square foot outpatient center.
Scale of the Hand
This was a final product for a studio focused on studying tectonics. This was a project full of experimentation with movable concrete, the deconstruction of fabric, and the attachment of wood.
Piazza Duomo Fragment
This was a photography workshop held in Florence, Italy. My group had to document a piazza with interpretations of the given keyword.
Second Floor Plan
This was a team project focused on creating a vertical learning environment for high school, college students, and professors.
This infographic filled brochure was designed as a campaign for New Zealand campsites. I created the typeface and the unique layout of a poster hidden within the brochure.
A lighting project that included analyzing the interior context, defining a concept, finding luminaries, and rendering the final views.
A bit of a different project, but wanted to show my handiwork as a sewer.
Furniture Hack detail
This furniture project started with a found object. The goal was to "hack" the furniture and give it a whole new purpose. The result was an additive process that used weaving and wrapping techniques to expand the furniture.
These personal pictograms are a representation of some of the important things in my life. My concept was to take three of these things and show how they are all interconnected.
This is a small portfolio of some of the work at the beginning of my schooling. It includes two-dimensional drawings, three-dimensional works, and architectural models.
process booklet 2
This booklet is a description of the process I go through when designing an interior or exterior space.
Hotel Lobby Design
The challenge was to create a hotel lobby that featured an abnormal attraction for visitors. My proposal was to create a lobby that featured a D.I.Y. workshop program for the guests.
